Introducing WIMBA Go and WIMBA Pro
At WIMBA, we understand that your needs vary depending on case complexity. That’s why we’ve divided our solutions into WIMBA Go and WIMBA Pro.
WIMBA Go is perfect for mild cases, offering a faster and simplified ordering process for carpal and tarsal devices - doesn't require WimbaSCAN!
WIMBA Pro addresses moderate and severe orthopedic conditions with precision and advanced functionality - WimbaSCAN is needed!
Ordering Made Easy with the New WimbaAPP
Ordering WIMBA Go devices such as WIMBA carpal and tarsal orthoses has never been easier! Simply provide a few paw measurements and upload two photos. With the latest version of WimbaAPP, WimbaSCAN is no longer required for these products!
With over 1,000 orders and millions of photos, our data-driven algorithms design the perfect fit without scanning, delivering high-quality custom orthotics faster and more efficiently.
WIMBA Go vs WIMBA Pro
So, does this mean WimbaSCAN tools are no longer needed? Not exactly! WimbaSCAN will still be used for WIMBA Pro devices - prosthetics, stifle and those moderate to severe cases (under development). These advanced devices will need WimbaSCAN's precision for a superior fit.

Graham Blow, BVSc MRCVS, qualified as a veterinarian in South Africa in 1985. He spent two years as a military vet, working mainly with horses and occasionally with dogs. After that, he spent a year at the PDSA in Cape Town, where he gained extensive surgical experience with a variety of species. He has been with Bridge Vets since 1989 and became a partner.
Graham, as one of WIMBA Providers, shared his thoughts on Frankie, one of his patients, who benefited from WIMBA stifle brace:
"Having known Frankie and his owner since a puppy and the multiple surgical procedures he went through, he has been an incredibly brave and tolerant patient. He had recurrent resistant infections of the stifle and skin, requiring corticosteroids at times making his treatment and recovery even more difficult.
When a brace was mentioned to offer him stability and the owner to feel more confident in exercising him, WIMBA appeared to be and ultimately proved a good choice.
As it was one of the first to be made for the stifle there were a number of teething problems, but WIMBA were able to respond and make innovative and effective changes to the structure to improve its efficacy.
Frankie, his brace, the perseverance of the owner and Nichi the physio have made a great difference to his quality of life and it is great to see him thrive."
