Manual Measurements
Take measurements by using soft measurement tape. You will be asked to check circumference and measure distance between points on the dog's body or measure angles.
Remember to make sure the unit of measurement is checked correctly in the app (centimeters vs inches).

Crucial Dimensions
1. Wrist - F measure
You need to pay special attention to well locate the styloid process of this and pull the measure all the way to the beginning of the first finger.
2 Tarsus - G measure
The case is similar for the G dimension in the ankle joint. You need to locate the point of the lateral malleolus and then pop the measurement up where you want the orthosis to have its top strap.
Those two dimensions are crucial for correct fit of the orthosis - they determine the position of the straps. If measured incorrectly, the strap might be pressing on crucial regions of the limb or might not provide enough stabilization.
Measurement Cards
Each product has a dedicated measuring card.
These sheets were designed to make the process of taking measurements efficient: print adequate one and fill it during the dog's examination.
Cards have graphics illustrating where exactly you should put soft measurement tape and tables with written instructions.
Please note if we ask you about distance, angle or circumference.
It might be a good idea to print the cards before the visit and note the measurements down on paper rather then directly in the app. You can upload them to the app later - this proved easier and more effective to many vet professionals, saving their time.
